2 Day Introduction to QTRAP at SCIEX

This SCIEX University course is intended for beginner to intermediate level users of the QTRAP System for running small molecule applications. QTRAP theory will be introduced and participants will learn QTRAP System features and software to build methods for quantitative and qualitative analysis, with a focus on qualitative workflows. The course is divided between classroom based lectures providing LC/MS/MS theory and hands-on laboratory exercises designed to reinforce lecture fundamentals. Emphasis is placed on advanced scheduled MRM quantitation features, QTRAP® scan functions and Information-Dependent Acquisition (IDA) method development. It is delivered at a SCIEX location by an experienced SCIEX instructor. It is intended for those who have completed a SCIEX University Success Program and have at least one year of operational experience with SCIEX LC-MS systems. Upon completing the course, you should have a clear understanding of LC-MS/MS and linear ion trap (LIT) theory as it relates to operating your QTRAP in an Information Dependent Acquisition (IDA) manner for compound identification, and you will be capable of transferring the principles and practices learned throughout the course and apply them to your specific workflows.
